Through these live performances at Richard Tucker Park, New York City celebrates the diversity of music and cultures and the great opera star, tenor Richard Tucker (1913-1975) who worked as a cantor before joining the Metropolitan Opera for a long and distinguished career. On August 28th the concert series will feature Opera Collective (operacollective.com) doing a tribute to Richard Tucker in honor of his 100th birthday that would have been that day.
