After a succesful U.S. debut, Frank Loman returns to Don't Tell Mama with a show by three of his favorite composers: John Bucchino, Brett Kahr, and Stephen Sondheim.

An established cabaret artist, actor, and musical theater performer, Frank Loman has performed in Berlin, Vienna, and London in shows such as Les Miserables, Dance of the Vampires, and Titanic. Together with Ellen Verenieks he made his U.S. cabaret debut in 2011 as one half of the Lyrical Linguists from London.

"Anything you do, let it come from you. Then it will be new. Give us more to see." This is a very rich phrase, simply put, but powerful in meaning. It's from Sondheim, Sunday in the Park with George. Frank built his solo show with that line in mind, mixing Sondheim's "perfect pictures" with the work of John Bucchino and Brett Kahr.

John Bucchino's songs have been recorded by some of the greatest talents in our business: Patti LuPone, Michael Feinstein, Liza Minnelli, and Kristin Chenoweth to name only a few. His work was described by Sheldon Harnick (who wrote the book for Cabaret and whom Frank had the great pleasure of meeting when Frank did She Loves Me in Vienna) as being "as fearless as it is candid."

Brett Kahr, on the other hand, is a well-known psychotherapist with a taste for the darker side of London's Theatreland. One of his songs, "Dangerous Cabaret," has become Frank Loman's 'theme tune.' It describes his style of cabaret best!
