Comedian, actor and impressionist extraordinaire Frank Caliendo brings his high-energy comedy performance to The Orleans Showroom, this weekend, Sept. 25 and 26.
On stage, Caliendo blends observations, impressions, characters and anecdotal stories for his signature frenetic comedy style. Caliendo is perhaps known for his impressions of famous actors including Al Pacino,
Robin Williams and Robert DeNiro; former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton; sports figures John Madden, Charles Barkley, John Gruden and Mel Kiper Jr.; and talk show hosts Dr. Phil,
Jay Leno and David Letterman.
A veteran of televised comedy, Caliendo has starred in numerous television shows including "MADtv," "Mike & Mike," "Hot in Cleveland," "SportsCenter" and his own series on TBS, "Frank TV" in 2007 and 2008. He is a regular on the late night talk show circuit, performing on shows "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "The Tonight Show" and "Late Show with David Letterman."
From 2003 to 2012, Caliendo was a fixture on the "FOX NFL Sunday" pregame show where he worked with Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and the rest of the team. His "Frank's Picks" segments were featured during the broadcasts of Super Bowls xxIX, XLII and XLV.
Recently, Caliendo has looked to the 2016 presidential campaigners for inspiration. The comedian impersonates Donald Trump, in addition to recent sports and political headlines, to produce a satirical impersonation of the presidential candidate in "Trump Fixes Sports."
