GREASE: LIVE has enlisted a Jonas brother.

BroadwayWorld has learned that Joe Jonas and his band, DNCE, have been enlisted by Fox to serve as the band for the upcoming special musical event.

The group won't be going on as themselves, however - they'll play Johnny Casino and the Gamblers, and will perform during the high school dance scene, alongside Mario Lopez.

Classic R&B group Boyz II Men will also bring their three-part harmony to FOX's live production of GREASE: LIVE! The trio will be performing the classic number "Beauty School Dropout", originally performed by Frankie Avalon in the 1978 film and Tony winner Billy Porter in the 1990's Broadway revival.

The group announced the news on Twitter along with a video of themselves performing "Grease Is the Word" and the caption: "We're so excited to announce we're joining #GreaseLive! Catch us all play Teen Angel Jan 31 on FOX. #threeangels." Check out the video!

GREASE: LIVE airs Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016 7:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed on FOX!

GREASE: LIVE will reintroduce and reimagine some of the show's most memorable moments, great music and timeless love story to an entirely new generation. In this live television adaptation of the musical classic, the beginning of senior year means the end of Danny and Sandy's summer romance - until Sandy unexpectedly transfers to Danny's high school. With their friends pulling them in different directions, it's up to Danny and Sandy to stay hopelessly devoted as they make their way from Rydell High to a new frontier.

The live event stars Julianne Hough ("Safe Haven," "Rock of Ages") as the angelic "Sandy" - Rydell High's most talked-about newcomer - and Aaron Tveit ("Graceland," "Les Miserables") as bad boy "Danny Zuko." Also tapped to star are Vanessa Hudgens (Broadway's "Gigi," "Spring Breakers") as iconic bad girl "Rizzo"; Keke Palmer (SCREAM QUEENS, "Masters of Sex") as sassy Pink Lady "Marty Maraschino"; Carlos PenaVega ("Big Time Rush") as "Kenickie," Danny's tough-guy sidekick; multi-Platinum Grammy® Award-nominated singer and songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen as Pink Lady and beauty school dropout "Frenchy"; Kether Donohue ("You're The Worst") as Pink Lady "Jan";David Del Rio ("Spare Parts," "The Troop") as T-Bird "Putzie; Jordan Fisher as "Doody"; and Andrew Call as "Sonny."

Formed in the summer of 2015, DNCE first introduced themselves to audiences with the unexpected release of their debut single "Cake By The Ocean." The band is fronted by superstar JOE JONAS, who has been working to bring DNCE to life ever since The Jonas Brothers disbanded in 2013 (after moving 17 million records worldwide and becoming worldwide stars). The group is rounded out by South Korean guitarist JinJoo, whom JONAS first met when she was playing lead guitar for Jordin Sparks - the opener of The Jonas Brothers' 2009 world tour. A virtuoso in her own right, she's toured with everybody from Charli XCX to Cee Lo Green. Then, there's bassist and keyboardist, Cole Whittle, who co-founded New York alternative dance trailblazers, Semi Precious Weapons. DNCE drummer, Jack Lawless, stepped behind the kit for The Jonas Brothers in 2006 and went on to become their full-time drummer. He's also toured with Night Terrors of 1927 and Soft Swells.
