Fountain Gallery, the premier venue in New York City representing artists with mental illness, has announced that 100 original works by its artists will be exhibited for sale at the 9th End of Annual Meeting Season Celebration on Friday, June 8, 2012, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. The event will take place at Ellen Philip Associates, located at 134 West 26th Street in Manhattan.

The End of Annual Meeting Season Celebration was established in 2004 by Carl T. Hagberg and Associates and Ellen Philip Associates to bring together professionals from the financial services and related industries to celebrate the end of the grueling "proxy season" while raising funds for Fountain Gallery. This evening of cocktails, delicacies, live music and art will be hosted by Cal Donly, Ellen Philip, Carl T. Hagberg, Bob Irvine, and Barry Shapiro. This year's event honors the memory of Alan Miller, Co-Chairman, Innisfree M&A Incorporated.

Among the art mediums represented in the exhibition are: acrylic, oil and watercolor paintings; collage and mixed media pieces; pen and ink drawings; woodcuts; and digital photographs.
Tickets start at $150.00. For more information, contact: rmarks@fountainhouse.org, or 212.582.0341, Ext. 1288.

Founded by Fountain House in 2000 as a not-for-profit exhibition space for its member-artists living and working with mental illness, Fountain Gallery sells original artworks and collaborates with a wide network of artists, curators and cultural institutions. Embracing artists who are emerging or established, trained or self-taught, the Gallery cultivates artistic growth and makes a vital contribution to the New York arts community. Agnes Gund, President Emerita of The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), has commended Fountain Gallery's "fine works of art made by excellent artists."

Fountain Gallery is located at 702 Ninth Avenue at 48th Street. www.fountaingallerynyc.com.
