Fountain Gallery, the premier venue in New York City representing artists with mental illness, has announced that 100 original works by its artists will be exhibited for sale at the seventh End of Annual Meeting Season Celebration on Friday, June 4, 2010, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. The event will take place at Ellen Philip Associates, located at 134 West 26th Street in Manhattan.

The End of Annual Meeting Season Celebration was established in 2004 by Carl T. Hagberg and Associates and Ellen Philip Associates to bring together professionals from the financial services and related industries to celebrate the end of the grueling "proxy season" while raising funds for Fountain Gallery. This evening of cocktails, delicacies, and art has over the years attracted an ever wider circle of supporters. This year's event will honor Karen Danielson, Shareowner Services Manager, The Coca-Cola Company.

Tickets are $125.00. For more information, contact: rmarks@fountainhouse.org, or 212.582.0341, Ext. 1288.

Founded by Fountain House in 2000 as a not-for-profit exhibition space for artists living and working with mental illness, Fountain Gallery sells original artworks and collaborates with a wide network of artists, curators and cultural institutions. Embracing artists who are both emerging and established, trained and self-taught, the Gallery cultivates artistic growth and makes a vital contribution to the New York arts community. Agnes Gund, President Emerita of The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), has praised the Gallery's "fine works of art made by excellent artists."
