Foster, Martin & Burstein to be Featured on XM Radio, 7/3

Stars of the new Broadway musical, The Drowsy Chaperone--Danny Burstein, Sutton Foster and Bob Martin--will be featured on XM Satellite Radio's "On Broadway" Channel 28 on Monday, July 3 at 12 noon and 9:00pm EST. 

XM's John Von Soosten will play cuts from the recently released Broadway cast album for The Drowsy Chaperone.

The Drowsy Chaperone received five 2005-2006 Tony Award awards including Featured Actress (Beth Leavel), Best Book (Bob Martin and Don McKellar), Original Score (Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison), Costume Design (Gregg Barnes), and Scenic Design (David Gallo).

The show  won Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Book of a Musical (Bob Martin and Don McKellar), Outstanding Music (Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison), Outstanding Lyrics (Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison), Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical (Beth Leavel), Outstanding Costume Design (Gregg Barnes), Outstanding Set Design of a Musical (David Gallo). It also won the 2005-2006 New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best Musical and four 2005-2006 Outer Critic's Circle Awards including Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical for Beth Leavel, Outstanding New Score, Outstanding Set Design and Outstanding Costume Design.

The Drowsy Chaperone is produced by Kevin McCollum, Roy Miller, Boyett Ostar, Stephanie McClelland, Barbara Freitag, and Jill Furman.  "To chase his blues away, a modern day musical theatre addict known simply as 'Man in Chair' drops the needle on his favorite LP – the 1928 musical comedy The Drowsy Chaperone.
