Anon(ymous) is written by Naomi Iizuka; directed by SPleonoko Kawahara. It has Set Design by Joey Mendoza, Costumes by Becky Bodurtha, and Lighting Design by Charles Babbitt.
The third production in A Season of Cultural Revolution, Anon(ymous) follows a young foreign refugee who becomes separated from his mother amidst violent political upheaval in his home country. Naomi Iizuka’s contemporary take on The Odyssey.
A young refugee becomes separated from his mother as he flees violent political upheaval in his country. He struggles to find his family in a chaotic, bizarre new land. Master storyteller Naomi Iizuka’s re-telling of Homer’sOdyssey is a compelling and darkly humorous exploration of one person’s path to reunion.
Performances are Thursday, March 1, Friday, March 2, and Saturday, March 3. All performances are at 8 p.m.
