Footlight Records to Close Before Thanksgiving

Footlight Records, which previously transitioned to an online only shop selling theatre related CDs, DVDs, record albums, collectibles and more from around the world is now set to close its Internet shop as well, before Thanksgiving.

A note on the shop's web site (www.footlight.com) states that:

"We gave it our best try. Unfortunately with downloading, the economy, and other factors, staying open is no longer an option for us. Footlight Records will be closing just before Thanksgiving, and we will give an exact date next week.
We want to thank everyone that has supported us over the past 30 years.
All the best from all of us at Footlight.

Now through Sunday, November 16th,
all items on our Sale page are an additional 20% off!
We've added hundreds of titles in the last couple of weeks!
