For many Americans, Monday night's live GRAMMY performance of the opening number to Broadway's Hamilton was their first exposure to the much hyped smash hit musical. However according to GoogleTrends, viewers appeared to be much more interested in learning who exactly is Alexander Hamilton!
Google Trends, a public web facility of Google Inc. that shows how often a particular search-term is entered relative to the total search-volume across various global regions, reported that searches for "Who is Alexander Hamilton?" spiked four times the normal rate during the show's live performance from the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York City.
