Stage 13 presents, as part of the New York International Fringe Festival, Dan Fogler's Elephant in the Room August 10 - 26, 2007.

Inspired by Eugene Ionesco's Rhinoceros, Elephant in the Room is written and directed by Tony Award-winning Best Featured Actor Dan Fogler (The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee).

The cast includes Randy Baruh, Jordan Gelber, Kate Gersten, Johnny Giacolone, Lennon Parham, Sarah Saltzberg, Ariel Shafir, Dennis Staroselsky, Law Tarello, Bjorn Thorstad and Ivy Vahanian.

Elephant in the Room takes place in present day, Manhattan. "The globe is warming, glaciers are leaving (along with the bees) and we're up to our eyeballs in cow farts. And now, people are turning into elephants; so what are you gonna do? Man, we're screwed!" state press notes.  The original comedy runs 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Performances are at the Bleecker Street Theatre, located at 45 Bleecker (at Lafayette).  Remaining show times are August 19 at 7:15PM, August 21 at 5:45PM, August 23 at 3:15PM and August 24 at 10PM.
