If you love jazz music, you won't want to miss Flushing Town Hall's (FTH) line up of June events. And if jazz isn't your thing, come learn about the art of sunprinting. Whatever you're into, FTH has you covered.

MONTHLY JAZZ CLINICS

First Wednesday of each month If you are interested in Jazz and looking to play and learn with other musicians, this jazz studies program is for you! Participants receive coaching by graduate students from the Aaron Copland School of Music: Amadis Dunkel, Sohee Kim, and Hyuna Park, and special guest teaching artists.

Monthly Jazz Jam (Special Guest: Pablo Mayor Quintet)

Special guest artists: the Pablo Mayor Quintet Open to professional jazz musicians, graduate students studying jazz, and music educators. Meet new contacts, hone your chops and jam each month with your peers! Open to General Public!

THE Aaron Copland SCHOOL OF MUSIC GUERRILLA ARTS ENSEMBLE

Tickets: Suggested Admission $5
Guerilla concerts highlight talented jazz and classical musicians from the students & faculty of Queens College's Aaron Copland School of Music. You never know who you'll discover! Call the week prior for artist names.

FAMILY WORKSHOP: WITH SUN PRINTING
Sat June 29, 2:00PM
Tickets: $20 per parent + 1 child/$10 each additional child. All proceeds to LICA.
For Families: Leaves, flowers, lace & feathers are common items that transfer well through Sunprinting. Bring objects to print, items with an interesting silhouette and/or are translucent, or cut paper shapes to transfer - with LICA exhibition artist Mary Pinto.

EXHIBITION: 'BRIDGING THE GAP': LONG ISLAND CITY ARTISTS (LICA)
Thu Jun 27th - Sun Jul 14th
Suggested Admission: $5/Members, Students and LICA Free
A juried traveling art show, assembled through an open call to all Queens artists. This multi-venue show, curated by LICA, reaches out to the varied communities near LaGuardia Community College, Flushing Town Hall, and Queens borough Community College, to highlight and showcase the broad diversity and creativity of Queens' artists
