SYNOPSIS


When Mei Li (Miyoshi Umeki) a young Chinese woman, arrives in San Francisco for an arranged marriage, she finds that her fiancee (Jack Soo) is in love with sultry Chinese American showgirl Linda Low (Nancy Kwan). Ancient tradition faces down contemporary customs when Mei Li strikes out on her own and falls for the handsome son of a family friend. Hit songs like "I Enjoy Being A Girl," "Chop Suey" and "A Hundred Million Miracles" make "Flower Drum Song" one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's(R) most memorable works.
