Florence Henderson Show Debuts Jan.17

Retirement Living TV previewed the "Florence Henderson Show" on Direct TV with the official debut scheduled for Thursday January 17, 2008 at 3PM (Eastern) and 12noon (Pacific)

In addition, and of particular interest is that The Smithsonian Institute has included her in the list of careers they will be highlighting in the soon to be renovated permanent exhibit of the Entertainment History division along with a few others including – to date – Carol Channing, Angela Lansbury, Tippi Hedren, June Lockhart, Phyllis Diller, Esther Williams, Julie Newmar and Rose Marie.

Florence Henderson continues to have one of the most productive careers on stage and in Hollywood and is recognized nationwide as one of the top leading spokespersons, and was featured in a Super Bowl commercial for Pepsi Light, which became one of the highest rated commercials in Super Bowl History. The Wall Street Journal based on consumer appeal, rated her #5 out of 10 top television endorsers and a career built on trust and talent. In addition to her Television commitments, Henderson maintains a busy schedule performing in concert and doing personal appearances, and is in demand as a motivational speaker, who incorporates music into her presentations.
