A starry selection of musical and theatrical notables will take to the stage of the Kennedy Center Concert Hall this November for the AMERICAN VOICES concert, conducted by Steven Reineke and featuring the National Symphony Orchestra.
Internationally renown vocalist Josh Groban, two-time Tony Award-winner Sutton Foster, opera favorite Renee Fleming and Broadway's Norm Lewis join with jazz greats Dianne Reeves and Kurt Elling, gospel star Kim Burrell and more at the event.
The official description of AMERICAN VOICES is as follows: "Legendary soprano Renée Fleming caps off her three-day Kennedy Center festival with this spectacular concert. Joining her will be special guest vocalists from the worlds of Broadway, opera, jazz, gospel, country, pop, and classical music. Hosted by legendary soprano Renée Fleming and conducted by Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke, the cornerstone concert of her Kennedy Center festival celebrating the past, present, and future of singing in America will feature special guest vocalists from a variety of musical genres including Broadway sensations Sutton Foster and Norm Lewis, jazz veterans Dianne Reeves and Kurt Elling, gospel diva Kim Burrell, pop star Josh Groban, opera singer Eric Owens, and others to be announced!"
