First Poster Revealed Announcing Darren Criss In HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH

Darren Criss is preparing for an ultra-glam Broadway return!

GLEE breakout star and recognizable Broadway baby Darren Criss headlines HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH starting in April according to an announcement earlier this week and the first poster announcing his arrival is now available to view.

Of note, Criss takes over for John Cameron Mitchell when he steps into the heels on April 29.

The official current description of HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH is as follows: "John Cameron Mitchell, who with composer Stephen Trask wrote Hedwig and the Angry in both the 1998 off-Broadway production and the 2001 film. The landmark musical is directed by Tony Award® winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening). Heartbreaking and wickedly funny, this raucously entertaining show has inspired a generation. Beginning April 29, Darren Criss ("Glee," How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) returns to Broadway for a 12-week engagement."

Of note, HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH took home 4 2014 Tony Awards, including Best Revival Of A Musical, Best Actor In A Musical (Neil Patrick Harris), Best Featured Actress In A Musical (Lena Hall) and Best Sound Design (Tim O'Heir).
