AMERICAN IDOL's Eric Anthony Lopez (currently in THE JACKIE MASON MUSICAL Off-Broadway) and Mary Michael Patterson (most recently in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on Broadway) have teamed up to record Lopez's original song "Angels Sing" as a tribute to those who have lost there lives in the September 11th attacks.

20-year-old Lopez described the message he hopes people come away with after listening to the song, saying, "It's a tribute dedicated to all who have gone before us, especially those who have passed prematurely and how just because someone has physically left this earth, doesn't mean they can't still be a big part of your life. Also, I'm beyond grateful to have Mary Michael's beautiful vocals on this song with me. I'm such a fan of hers, and she really makes the song come alive."

Last year, Eric Anthony Lopez made his Off-Broadway debut at just 19 years old in THE JACKIE MASON MUSICAL at The Davenport Theatre (formerly at St. Luke's Theatre), where he continues to play Nelson Zee. He also was in the ensemble for DEFYING GRAVITY, a concert directed by Stephen Schwartz at The Lincoln Center & was a featured soloist in BOOKSELLER IN THE RAIN: A TRIBUTE CONCERT TO MAURY YESTON (with Tony winner Tonya Pinkins). Other credits include 54 Below, Longrun Artistes Showcase (Her Majesty's Theatre - London), Backup Singer for Shania Twain on Good Morning America and semi-finalist on the most recent season of AMERICAN IDOL. He is also the newest member of Broadway Inspirational Voices, directed by Tony nominee Michael McElory

Mary Michael Patterson made her Broadway debut in the Roundabout revival of ANYTHING GOES. She most recently played Christine Daae opposite Norm Lewis and Hugh Panaro in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on Broadway. She was in the ensemble for Maury Yeston's TITANIC with Manhattan Concert Productions. She also played was Liesl in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, a benefit concert at Carnegie Hall. Regional include 54 Below, MUNY, Denver City Center, Pittsburg Civic Light Opera and more.
