Ergo Entertainment, producers of the feature film Paper Clips, and last years Tony Award Winning play Long Day's Journey into Night, is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring its first annual New York Winter Theatre and Arts Festival at the Producers Club Two, 616 Ninth Avenue (between 43rd & 44th St.) in New York City. This year's theme is "Celebrating Women" & will feature diverse independent performances from up & coming actors, musicians & comics, including the New York debut of Courtney Fine's one-woman show, Me2.
Each evening will begin with at 7:30pm with a fifteen minute award presentation. The awards presented throughout the Festival will be:

The Festival will present two performances per evening at 7:45 & 10:00pm with the exception of January 10th & 13th. On January 10th the Festival welcomes attendees to an opening night gathering at Fredericks, 8 West 58th next to the Paris Theater, following the 7:45 show. A full schedule of performances will be available in the Festival program.
The headline act for the Festival is the new one act play written by & starring Courtney Fine, Me2. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Ms. Fine served as the Director of Marketing in the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre & Broadcasting. The Festival will mark Courtney's return to New York & the New York debut of her play. Me2 will begin on January 13th & run for three nights.
New York comedienne & author Elizabeth Warner will appear January 10, 11 & 12 at 7:45pm. The new musical talent Arielle (www.arriellemusic.com) will bring an "unplugged" style version of her set to the stage on various nights throughout the Festival. Arielle's beautiful voice & her lyrical verses will delight even the most discerning audience. More acts & events are planned for the weeklong Festival.
Christopher Cartmill will present a staged reading of his play La Chasse, a mid- 1800's period piece that investigates age-old issues surrounding the relationships between men & women. La Chasse will close the Festival.
Festival Tickets for entry to any & all acts are $40. New York City employees will be able to purchase Festival Tickets at a discounted $30. Event Tickets for each act are $20 & available at the door. Please rsvp or email questions to: festival@ergoentertainment.com.
Ergo Entertainment will donate a portion of the Festival proceeds to ArtWorks, The Naomi Cohain Foundation, is dedicated to the establishment & support of creative & performing art exhibitions, titled Express Yourself, featuring the works of children & young adults suffering from life-threatening & chronic illnesses.
