In a dramatic LIVE results show, Sweet Suspense, one of Simon Cowell's Groups and Rachel Potter, one of Kelly Rowland's Over 25s, were eliminated on THE X FACTOR. Tonight, host Mario Lopez announced early in the broadcast that Sweet Suspense had the fewest votes following last night's performance show, and they were eliminated immediately. Khaya Cohen and Rachel Potter received the next fewest votes and the judges - Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio - listened to the two acts battle it out in "The Final Showdown" sing-off. After an emotional deliberation, Potter was sent home.

Earlier in the show, actress and recording artist Selena Gomez ("Getaway," "Spring Breakers") performed her hit single, "Slow Down," from her album, "Stars Dance," and Fifth Harmony returned to THE X FACTOR stage and performed their hit single, "Me and My Girls."

THE X FACTOR continues on Wednesday, Nov. 20 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), as the Top 10 Finalists perform songs by U.K. artists on British invasion night. On Thursday, Nov. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), another act will be sent home, and the world's biggest boy band, One Direction, returns to THE X FACTOR stage for the world debut performance of their single, "Story of My Life," from their highly anticipated new album, "Midnight Memories." With two albums to date, "Up All Night" and "Take Me Home," the boys have sold more than 35 million records worldwide and have achieved a total of 64 No. 1 songs. One Direction made their movie debut in 2013 with their global No. 1 box office hit 3-D concert movie, "One Direction: This Is Us." On Nov. 25, the band will release their third studio album, "Midnight Memories," which includes the worldwide smash hit, "Best Song Ever" and the current single, "Story Of My Life." The album, out Nov. 25, is available for pre-order now at: http://smarturl.it/MidnightMemoriesiT.
