Final two weeks to see Roundabout Theatre Company's critically acclaimed Broadway premiere production of Reginald Rose's drama Twelve Angry Men, directed by Scott Ellis, at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd Street). Twelve Angry Men is now playing through Sunday, May 15th, 2005. The original limited engagement was scheduled through December 19, 2004, and has been extended seven times.
Twelve Angry Men has been nominated for three Drama Desk Awards (Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Direction of a Play and Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play for original cast member Philip Bosco), two Outer Critic Circle Awards (Outstanding Revival of a Play and Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play for original cast member Philip Bosco) and a Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance for the ensemble acting company.
Twelve Angry Men is now the longest running production at Roundabout's American Airlines Theatre since the theatre opened in 2000. The Women, starring Kristen Johnston, Cynthia Nixon and Jennifer Tilly was the longest running show at 13 weeks. By May 15th, Twelve Angry Men will have played 32 weeks.
