Fast-growing Fifteen Minutes Public Relations, the agency founded by Howard Bragman, is opening its doors in New York City. Corey R. Martin, formerly a Vice-President in Ogilvy Public Relations' consumer marketing practice and Director of Corporate Communications for Atkins Nutritionals, Inc, will lead the new office's business development and operations. Joining Martin will be entertainment, Broadway, fashion and event publicity specialist Pete Sanders, formerly Senior Vice-President at Blue Current Public Relations, a boutique agency created by Fleishman-Hillard, Inc. and previously owner of his own agency, the Pete Sanders Group.

The duo aims to continue the aggressive growth experienced by Fifteen Minutes in Los Angeles by leveraging their combined experience, contacts, and strategic focus to develop an account base that includes; entertainment, consumer products, food & nutrition, fashion, lifestyle, charities, personalities, special events and corporate communications.

Martin brings a diverse mix of agency and client side experiences in developing public relations strategies.  His background includes extensive work in consumer products, food and nutrition, consumer healthcare, automotive, Internet and technology (hardware, middleware and software), crisis communications and corporate reputation. While at Ogilvy Public Relations, Martin facilitated publicity around high profile celebrity/corporate endorsement deals and successfully leveraged his understanding of nutritional science and associated media trends to regularly secure high profile coverage for top food & beverage clients such as Lipton Tea, Slim-Fast, Promise and others. As Director of Corporate Communications at Atkins Nutritionals Inc., Corey led a variety of successful product introductions as well as the launch of the last book planned by the late, Dr. Robert C. Atkins, Atkins Diabetes Revolution.

Sanders, brings 20-years of senior leadership and unmatched expertise working in entertainment publicity, marketing and sponsorships. Since 1993, he headed his own firm – the Pete Sanders Group, which specialized in entertainment, fashion, lifestyle, charities and corporate accounts as well as personal publicity for a number of Broadway based actors and actresses. Pete developed public relations campaigns for numerous Broadway and international productions including the long running, hit musical Chicago as well as the current hit Xanadu and the upcoming Thurgood starring Laurence Fishburne, along with the Tony-winning Journey's End, Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam on Broadway, Whoopi: the 20th Anniversary production, Mario Cantone's Laugh Whore for Showtime, and the Tony Award winning productions of Bridge & Tunnel.

For 12-years, Pete personally handled the fashion publicity for Tommy Hilfiger. Other fashion and beauty clients have included Aramis and Estee Lauder. Pete handled Kids Night on Broadway for the League of American Theatres and Producers as well as The Mr. Abbott Awards honoring Rob Marshall. Pete has also organized sponsorship opportunities with Macy's, Kimpton Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels, Jet Blue and MAC Cosmetics.

Much as the LA-office of Fifteen Minutes has its hands on the pulse of Hollywood, the NY office will quickly establish itself as a prominent player in promoting the business and talent of Broadway. Additionally, the New York office will expand on the growing trend of "healthy living" that continues to play a more prominent role with consumers and celebrities alike.

With the opening of Fifteen Minutes' New York office, the agency now has 18 employees spread throughout multiple practice areas. The agency's diverse client base, represented in all areas, includes: Cathy Schulman, Isaiah Washington, Lizzy Caplan, Mischa Barton, Mario Lopez, Martina Navratrilova, Ricki Lake, Innovative Artists, AskMen.com, W Hotels, Ford Motor Company, W Hotels, FreshDining.com, the hit Broadway musical Xanadu and the upcoming Broadway play Thurgood, Flying Television Productions, Safe Horizon, the nation's leading victim's assistance organization and the U.S national tour of South Africa's production of African Footprint.

Fifteen Minutes is a media and public relations agency founded by Howard Bragman in 2005.  The agency specializes in strategic communications consulting designed specifically for each client.  Because of Bragman's more than 30 years in the industry, as well as the talent he brings together, Fifteen Minutes clients deal only with seasoned professionals--without layers of bureaucracy and middle management--in a "user-friendly" environment. The agency specializes in a number of areas including, but not limited to, the business of entertainment; consumer products; start-up companies; crisis management and more.
