Fiction, the NYC-based underground music collective, known for high-caliber dance music events will host their debut warehouse party 'Something Happening Somewhere' at Mona Liza (23 Meadow Street) with Nuno Dos Santos, Love Over Entropy (LIVE) and Baikal on Saturday, March 11, from 11pm-8am.

Featuring artists from labels Something Happening Somewhere (SoHaSo) and Maeve, the event will showcase the very best in emerging European deep house talent. Alongside original 3D video projection mapping, stunning lighting and exceptional sound on a state of the art KV2 system, this warehouse party will be sure to inspire lovers of electronic music in New York.

The SoHaSo warehouse event marks the US debut for the incredible Dutch producer Love Over Entropy alongside SoHaSo label owner, DJ and producer Nuno Dos Santos and special guest: Maeve co-founder Baikal. Altogether the three lineup artists bring over 50 years of experience in DJing and music production each with a truly unique, deep, hypnotic, and melodic sound making this a not-to-be missed warehouse party.

Blending experimental dance music with melody and early techno sounds, Love Over Entropy has been with SoHaSo since 2013 regularly performing live throughout Europe and counts Dixon as a fan who remixed a track from his Tonii EP. An acclaimed producer, Nuno Dos Santos frequently headlines clubs across Europe and North America and has an impressive list of releases and club hits behind him. In addition to kicking off his North American tour, Dutch producer Baikal is working on two separate projects with Maeve co-founders Mano Le Tough and The Drifter both of which will see the light of day in 2017.

Since launching in 2014, over 38 artists have played 33+ successful Fiction parties at various New York venues including House of Yes, TBA, and the much acclaimed Circle Line Boat Parties over the summer months. Founded by the Fiction resident DJs Joe Foxton, Steve Graham, and Gilles Wasserman as well as musician Irina Kotik, the NYC based music collective has hosted an impressive list of artists, curating line-ups that match local and underrated talent with bigger and more established international acts. Artists who have graced the Fiction decks include: Andre Lodemann, Davis, Eagles & Butterflies, Krink, Marc Poppcke, Ripperton and The Drifter, as well as local favorites Christian Voldstad, Connie, David Scuba, Dory, Naveen G, and many more.

On a Saturday night you might find yourself in a dark, smoky club, dancing until your clothes are soaking wet, but somewhere else in the world someone is cutting down a tree in a rainforest at the same time. A red car crashes into a lamppost and a girl with curly hair falls deeply in love with a Japanese mailman.

Something Happening Somewhere. The name of the record label founded by the DJ, producer and former Trouw resident Nuno Dos Santos, residing in Utrecht, The Netherlands. "The name itself leaves a lot open for your own imagination. I want to release musical material from befriended producers, new talent and my own work on Something Happening Somewhere (SoHaSo)."
