The newly formed South Ark Stage Company presents the Off-Broadway premiere of Jenny Lyn Bader's play None of the Above.  Previews begin September 25, opening October 10 at Theatre Row's Lion Theatre (410 West 42nd Street) in Manhattan.

Directed by Julie Kramer and starring Halley Feiffer and Adam Green, "None of the Above is Jenny Lyn Bader's comedy about privilege, addiction, transcending stereotypes…and getting into Princeton. What happens when a high-priced SAT tutor is hired to coach a spoiled Upper East Side girl? When both of their futures depend on her success, will she surprise everyone and rise to the occasion or will she fail to make the grade?" describe press notes.

The design team for None of the Above is Lauren Helpern (set); Graham Kindred (lighting); Melissa Schlachtmeyer (costume); and Jill DuBoff (sound).

Halley Feiffer appeared most recently on stage in Second Stage's production of Election Day. Additional stage credits include: Eric Bogosian's subUrbia (Second Stage); Urgent Fury (Cherry Lane Theatre), and Feiffer's People (Back House Productions).  Film credits include: You Can Count on Me, The Squid and the Whale, Stephanie Daley and Margot at the Wedding which co-stars Nicole Kidman and Jack Black (to open this November). Feiffer's work as a playwright have been produced at the Cherry Lane Theatre (Young Playwrights' Festival) and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

He won the Rose Robinson Cowen Fellowship for his portrayal of Ralph in Zelda Fichandler's production of Awake and Sing! (Arena Stage in Washington, DC) Additional credits include: The Last Word… (Theater at St. Clement's); All This Intimacy (Second Stage); The Mines of Sulphur (New York City Opera); Bone Portraits (SoHo Rep); Amerikus Rex (Belt Theater).

None of the Above is the inaugural production of the newly formed South Ark Stage Company under the artistic direction of Rhoda Herrick.   Upcoming South Ark Stage Company productions include: The Black Monk by Wendy Kesselman and Bully Pulpit by Michael Smith, both to be presented in 2008 at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre.
