We've Got Questions!

1) What are you working on right now?

'Hit the Wall', a play by Ike Holter at the Barrow Street Theatre. It's about the Stonewall riots of 1969, the birth of the Gay Rights Movement.

2) What has been your professional biggest accomplishment so far?

Originating the first transgender character on Broadway in 'Bring It On: The Musical'.

3) Share your funniest or worst audition moment

One of my worst audition moments was about two maybe three years ago. I was very excited to go and sing and do sides, but as I was waiting to go into the room I could hear the other auditioners and something didn't sound right. One by one they came out and then it was my turn. "Gregory," said the casting agent and my heart dropped to my butt. I had learned the song completely wrong! So I go into the room all the while wishing they would ask me to sing from my book first, but of course they say, "Alright let's start with the song we sent you." I still to this day don't exactly know what came or of my mouth but it wasn't pretty. Oh and this was in front of Alan Menken.

4) What's your dream role?

I would love play Black in Andrew Lippa's Wild Party. Or just originate a role for Mr. Lippa.

5) If you weren't a performer, what would you be?

I would probably be in PR.

6) Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years?

Creating, entertaining people (on stage, tv, and film), working on my craft, learning/teaching, and probably having a family.

7) Where can people find you online?

On my website at www.ghaney.com
Twitter: @ghaney22
Facebook: Gregory Haney Page
