Fashion Icon Andre Leon Talley And Fashion Critic Vanessa Friedman Come to TimesTalks, 5/21  Image

TimesTalks, The New York Times live conversation and performance series, is proud to host an intimate evening with fashion editor, author, and curator, André Leon Talley, and in conversation with fashion director and chief fashion critic of The New York Times, Vanessa Friedman, on May 21.

Talley, a contributing editor of Vogue and a resident fixture in the world of fashion, will share stories about his unusual journey to the top of one of the most storied mastheads in the world, from growing up in the segregated South to rubbing elbows with the most influential tastemakers of our time. The two will also discuss "The Gospel According to André," an upcoming documentary about Talley's life, which will be released nationwide on May 25.

This event is presented in collaboration with CFDA and will take place on May 21 at Florence Gould Hall. The talk will be live streamed on TimesTalks.com and TimesTalks YouTube channel, starting at 7:00PM EST. Select media passes are available.
