Farah Alvin and More Set for STARS OF DAVID: A MUSICAL at 92Y Tonight

STARS OF DAVID: A MUSICAL, based on the bestselling book by Abigail Pogrebin, conceived by Aaron Harnick & Abigail Pogrebin, will take the stage at 92Y tonight, December 5, 2015.

A celebration of Jewish identity, heritage, interests and memories, actors portraying prominent personalities including Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Fran Drescher, Andy Cohen, Tony Kushner, Leonard Nimoy, Joan Rivers, Gwyneth Paltrow and Aaron Sorkin among others, reveal intimate thoughts and experiences about being Jewish, from experiences of anti-Semitism to others of pure joy. Featuring original songs by some of Broadway's top composers and lyricists including Marvin Hamlisch, David Shire and Nathan Tyson, this is a holiday concert not to be missed.

Produced by Daryl Roth and directed by Gordon Greenberg with musical direction by Sinai Tabak, the cast features Farah Alvin, Janet Metz, Etai Benson and Bruce Sabath.
