Martin Short will appear nationally on "Live with Regis & Kelly" on Tuesday,
September 19th.  "Live" airs in New York City on WABC Channel 7 at 9:00 a.m.

Short's appearance on "Live" will include footage of host Regis Philbin's on-stage interview with famous celebrity interviewer (and famous Martin Short character) Jiminy Glick, which took place during a previous performance of Fame Becomes Me.  Other notable stars which have made an  impromptu appearance at the Broadway show are: Jerry Seinfeld, Steve Martin, Nathan Lane, Rosie O'Donnell, Rosanne Barr and Larry King.

Fame Becomes Me is the new comedy musical co-written by Martin Short and Daniel Goldfarb (Modern Orthodox) with additional material by Alan Zweibel (700 Sundays) and featuring music and lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray).  The show "features Short in a tour de force guiding us through an improbable version of his life story. Backed by a brilliant cast of top Broadway performers (who constantly steal focus from Mr. Short when he's not looking), Short's transparent play for love and  attention asks the burning question, does an autobiography really have to be true?," state press materials.

Directed by Wittman, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me plays at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street).  For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit www.martinshortthemusical.com.
