The New York Pops hosts its annual cabaret fundraiser at Feinstein's/54 Below on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.(performance at 6:30 p.m.) starring Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award winner Faith Prince. The event is hosted by New York Pops Music Director Steven Reineke.

One of Broadway's beloved leading ladies, Ms. Prince is known for her award-winning appearance in the Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls opposite Nathan Lane, and has additionally been seen as Miss Hannigan in the Broadway revival of Annie, and in the Broadway productions of A Catered Affair, The Little Mermaid, Nick & Nora, Jerome Robbins' Broadway, Little Me, The Dead, Noises Off, and Disaster! The Musical.

The evening includes a pre-concert champagne reception, a music education demonstration led by PopsEd Teaching Artists, and dinner with wine pairings, followed by the performance by Faith Prince.

Proceeds from the event support The New York Pops' PopsEd music programs, which reach more than 5,000 New York City students each year throughout the five boroughs of New York City. PopsEd allows students of all ages and backgrounds to participate in fully customizable music programs that blend traditional education with pure fun, using tools like composition, lyric writing, performance and mentorship to foster learning and unbridled creativity.

Concerts in The New York Pops' 2018-19 Carnegie Hall season include: Roll Over Beethoven on Friday, October 19 at 8:00 p.m. with Frankie Moreno; Song and Dance on Friday, November 16 at 8:00 p.m. with New York Theatre Ballet and Essential Voices USA; Under the Mistletoe on Friday, December 21 and Saturday, December 22 at 8:00 p.m. with Ashley Brown; Unforgettable on Friday, February 8 at 8:00 p.m. with Billy Porter; and Movie Mixtape on Friday, March 15 at 8:00 p.m. with Storm Large, Ashley Park, Ryan Shaw, and Ryan Silverman.

The New York Pops is the largest independent pops orchestra in the United States, and the only professional symphonic orchestra in New York City specializing in popular music. Steven Reineke is the Music Director of The New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, Principal Pops Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and Principal Pops Conductor of the Houston Symphony and Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Reineke is a frequent guest conductor with The Philadelphia Orchestra and has been on the podium with the Boston Pops, The Cleveland Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at Ravinia. His extensive North American conducting appearances include Seattle, Edmonton and Pittsburgh. As the creator of more than one hundred orchestral arrangements for the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and the composer of symphonic and wind ensemble compositions, Mr. Reineke's work has been performed worldwide.

Faith Prince has been dazzling Broadway audiences since winning the Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance as Ms. Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. As one of Broadway's best loved leading ladies, Faith most recently starred on Broadway in Disaster! The Musical for which she received rave reviews. In a role she was born to play, she also starred as the scheming, irascible Miss Hannigan in the Broadway revival of Annie. In 2008, she was nominated for Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for A Catered Affair. Other Broadway credits include The Little Mermaid, Bells Are Ringing (Tony, DD, OCC noms), Nick & Nora (OCC Award), Jerome Robbins' Broadway (Tony, DD noms), Little Me, The Dead, and Noises Off. She also starred in the world premiere of Terrence McNally's Unusual Acts of Devotion and in the national tour of the Broadway hit Billy Elliott. Chicago audiences had the opportunity to see Faith on stage in the iconic role of Brenda in the new musical version of the hit movie First Wives Club.

Faith currently recurs on the ABC hit series Modern Family. She also recurred as Joey Lawrence's mother on ABC Family's long running series Melissa & Joey and wrapped her 5-season run as Brooke Elliott's mother on Lifetime's popular series Drop Dead Diva. She was a series regular on Showtime's Huff starring as Kelly Knippers, the love interest of Oliver Platt, and recurred for five seasons on Spin City. Other television credits include Scream Queens, Galavant, Angel from Hell, A Gifted Man, Happy Endings, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, CSI, Faith, House, Medium, Sweet Potato Queens, Monk, Now and Again, Welcome To New York, and Law and Order. Film credits include Our Very Own, Picture Perfect, Dave, and My Father the Hero.

Faith recently travelled to Australia for a concert tour with her Annie co-star Anthony Warlow, which included performances at the Sydney Opera House and the Adelaide Music Festival. She works often with the Boston Pops, Utah Symphony, Cincinnati Pops, and Philly Pops, and starred in the Orlando Philharmonic's concert version of Sweeney Todd. Faith toured her original show Moving On in Australia to rave reviews, and also toured in Over the Rainbow, a concert celebrating the centennial of Harold Arlen. Faith's new album, Total Faith, was recorded at the Royal Room in the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach and was recently released by Broadway Records. Her award-winning album, A Leap of Faith, was recorded at Joe's Pub.
