In this election season, prepare for the rise and fall of a leader as never experienced as New York-based Production Company Facing Page Productions, with permission from Barnes & Noble, presents No Fear Shakespeare's RICHARD III this October and November at the 4th Street Theatre, running from 10/20-11/3. Set in a surveillance laden, war torn world, this production of RICHARD III will feature direction from Shannon Fillion and will star Broadway's Luke Forbes (The Merchant of Venice w/ Al Pacino) in the title role.

Led by Co-Producers Winnie Lok (who is currently the Production Stage Manager for the Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway production of An Enemy of the People) and Ryan McCurdy (who works for the Broadway production of Once), Facing Page Productions' mission is to create new theatrical experiences from classical texts and themes.

The Barnes & Noble No Fear Shakespeare series is ubiquitous in the education field. You've seen them - the original Elizabethan text is on one side of the page and a plain English translation faces it. Chances are you've used one to help decipher a line or a character, but this world premiere is the first time one has been professionally staged. With the original language removed and featuring an ensemble cast of 13 actors, the ambition of a mad king resonates in a startling new way.

Joining Luke Forbes in the cast will be Frank De Julio (Buckingham), Tod Engle (Stanley), Danielle Faitelson (Queen Elizabeth), Amy Hattemer (Princess Elizabeth), Jara Jones (Hastings), Zak Kamin (Clarence), Joshua Levine (Rivers), Robyn Maitland (Margaret), Ryan McCurdy (Tyrrel), Jeff Omura (Catesby), Becca Schneider (Anne) and Brian Sell (King Edward). The creative team will also include Anshuman Bhatia (Scenic and Lighting Design), Lux Haac (Costume Design) and Kortney Barber (Sound Design).

No Fear Shakespeare's RICHARD III will run from 10/20-11/3 at the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street), with performances Wed.-Sat. at 7:30pm, Sat. at 2pm, with additional performances on Sunday 10/28 at 7:30pm and Monday 10/29 at 7:30pm (there is no show on Halloween, 10/31). Tickets, priced at $18, can be purchased online at www.BrownPaperTickets.com or by phone at 800-838-3006.
