Peace is not a political event; it is a personal choice to conquer fear. Join actress, storyteller, singer, and rebbetzin Michelle Azar in a balancing act between her Middle Eastern heritage and her Jewish-American culture.

One Performance only at the United Solo Festival

November 4, at 4 pm

Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street, New York City

FROM BAGHDAD TO BROOKLYN is a timely immigration story, which follows a young woman as she confronts her unique and disparate upbringing. Set against the universal family backdrop of love, dysfunction, and personal redemption, Michelle draws you in with her soulful story telling and angelic singing voice. This hour long show is an avenue to further understand and question ones vague fears and prejudices regardless of religious views or ethnicity. Michelle's story is a masterful transformation of people, geography, and generations.
