Manhattan Repertory Theatre Presents Free To Go in Playwright's Showcase May 4 and 5.
In Free To Go, a teacher is brought in to help a detective who's following up on a tip she received. When the conversation turns interrogation, uncovered evidence threatens to trap both teacher and detective in a haunting cycle of memories.
Free To Go was written by Holly Morse-Ellington, a 2018 recipient of the Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC) Individual Artist Award in Playwriting. Directed by Alonzo LaMont, four-time recipient of MSAC Individual Artist Award in Playwriting. Cast includes Morse-Ellington and Jason Tinney, an award-winning actor who's appeared in over forty stage productions. Sound and lighting design by Manhattan Repertory Theatre team.
Performances run May 4 and 5. All shows are at 6:30 pm and take place at Manhattan Repertory Theatre, 17-19 W. 45th St. #301, New York New York 10036. Tickets are $20 and can be reserved in advance online at www.manhattanrep.com or purchased at the door.
