Rachel Berry's dream of making it to the Great White Way may finally be coming true. Speaking to reporters and shareholders yesterday afternoon, co-head of FOX Television Gary Newman revealed that a live stage musical is currently in development for the musical drama GLEE.

"We launched a live stage business with a sold-out arena concert tour in 2011," shared Newman, "and now a live stage musical is in the works."

The exec did not reveal further details as to whether the production is planned for the Broadway stage or is an upcoming storyline for the show's fifth season. He also announced that other countries are currently securing the rights for their own adaptations of the TV series.

The network recently revealed that the first two episodes of the new season will feature the music of The Beatles, and will be followed by a special tribute episode to the late actor Cory Monteith who passed away on July 13th from an accidental drug overdose.

The fifth season premieres on Thursday, September 26, at 9 PM EST.
