FOREVER TANGO Enters Final Two Weeks of Performances on Broadway

Luis Bravo's internationally acclaimed entertainment phenomenon, Forever Tango enters the final two weeks of its limited Broadway engagement, ending Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 W 48th Street). Acclaimed Argentinean tango singer Martin de Leon will join the company on Tuesday, September 3 as the final guest vocalist. Special guest star Luis Fonsi will play his final performance on Sunday, September 1, 2013.

Described by the New York Post as "one of today's most prominent tango voices," and "quite simply one of the finest voices of tango" by the Washington Post,Martin De Leon started his career at the age of 16 in Buenos Aires. He performed regularly on radio, television and in concert alongside such notable singers as Vinicius de Moraes, Toquinho and Maria Creuza, among others. He has been seen in concert throughout the U.S. at many of the nation's finest venues, including Carnegie Hall in NYC.

Created and directed by Luis Bravo, Forever Tango has touched the souls of millions worldwide since its inception in San Francisco in 1994, where it thrilled audiences for nearly two years. Called "A must-see" by the New York Times, Forever Tango originally opened on Broadway in 1997 where it played the Walter Kerr and Marquis Theatres for fourteen months and earned multiple Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations. Celebrated by critics and audiences alike, the international sensation returned to Broadway's Shubert Theater for a limited four month engagement in 2004. The current revival of Forever Tango opened at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre for a limited 15-week engagement on July 14, 2013.

The performance schedule for Forever Tango is as follows: Tuesday through Saturday at 8 pm with 3 pm matinee performances on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
