After a long summer of playing matchmaker for New York singles, host of THE FIX-UP SHOW J. Keith van Straaten (host of Comedy Central's "Beat The Geeks," "What's My Line? - Live On Stage") deserves a vacation! But before he sets off jetting around the country, he has one more match to make at the finale of THE FIX-UP SHOW at the Triad on Saturday, September 11 at a special time, 9pm.  In this travel themed finale, our host will help a single flight attendant find his match with the help of other airline industry types as well as celebrity panelist and Emmy-award winning comedienne Judy Gold Gold (HBO, Comedy Central, 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother).  There will be an exciting opportunity to mingle with the participants and other jet-setting singles at a special going-away party following the last chance to see THE FIX-UP SHOW at the Triad.

In addition, a portion of the procedes from the finale of THE FIX-UP SHOW at the Triad will be donated to ZAMBIA TOMORROW, a non-profit charity benifitting Macha Innovative Christian School (M.I.C.S.), an elementary school located in Macha, Zambia Africa.  Fabulous VIP ticket packages will be available for purchase to benefit Zambia Tomorrow. The packages include reserved seating, gift bag, and giveaway prizes.  Sponsors of VIP Packages include Erotic Broadway, RiverDelicatessen restaurant, and more to be announced!

Before the big Bon Voyage, THE FIX-UP SHOWwill appear at its regular day and time, September 4 at 7pm featuring celebrity panelist, Randy Cohen, author of popular New York Times' column "The Ethicist."

THE FIX-UP SHOW brings together a panel of three people-two who know an eligible single well, and one celebrity who has never met the person-and has them interrogate potential suitors in an effort to make a match. Previous celebrity panelists include Scott Adsit, Dick Cavett, Frank DeCaro, Joe Franklin, Jeff Garlin, Aasif Mandvi, Michael Musto and Michael Riedel.
"It's simply comedy... Van Straaten's genuinely friendly demeanor fed the show's breezy atmosphere..."     - TIME OUT NEW YORK

Unlike other dating shows over the past 30 years, THE FIX-UP SHOW promises civility, with no humiliation, objectifying, drunken seduction or having to eat bugs to prove one's affection. It's a dating show where the participants have an actual chance of finding a good date. It's real, spontaneous and fun, the kind of show you could bring your mom to...or fix her up on.  Old or young, gay or straight, all are given a chance to find love on THE FIX-UP SHOW.
Host/Producer J. Keith van Straaten last appeared on the New York stage on "What's My Line? - Live on Stage," with celebrity guests including Moby, Larry King, Fred Armissen, David Cross, Edward Albee, John Oliver and George Wendt.  He hosted Comedy Central's TV game show "Beat The Geeks" and is often seen commenting on crazy TV clips on E! Entertainment Television. His essays on dating and New York have appeared in The Jewish Journal, Tango, and Backstage.  And he's single!  More at www.jkeith.net.

Judy Gold an Emmy Award winning actress and comedienne, is best known as the star of the critically acclaimed long-running off- Broadway hit show 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, for which she was nominated for a 2006 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Solo Performance.
