New Broadway headliner and NBC cult series CHUCK star Zachary Levi remarks on his own dating life and his new novelty gadget company Nerd Machine in a new interview on the eve of the Broadway premiere of his new musical FIRST DATE, which opens next week.

Remarking upon his own dating history and how that plays into the part he essays in the new musical, Levi states, "I'm not a big dater, honestly. I'm a go-with-the-flow kind of guy."

Expanding further, Levi offers, "I'd rather hang out with someone in a group and see if they check these various boxes with me before we go out together - get to know each other very casually and coolly, and if there's chemistry, then we'll go on a date."

As for his new company, Nerd Machine - which Levi himself calls "Nike for nerds," - and his recent Comic Con showing in order to build further goodwill with the fans who will most assuredly largely fund the sci-fi focused specialty gizmo creation center in the future, Levi says, "I believe in using the platform you have for good."

Levi adds that he believes in "conscientious capitalism - get a buck, give a buck."

FIRST DATE opens at the Longacre Theatre on Broadway on August 8.
