"Fighting the Good Fight: An MCS Benefit Performance for Freedom to Marry" is set for Eisner & Lubin Auditorium, KimMel Center, NYU, 60 Washington Square South, New York, NY 10012 tonight, September 29, 7:30pm-9:30pm.

Performances from actors at the Matthew Corozine Studio Theatre will consist of a series of original monologues and directed scenes. Michael Crawford, Freedom to Marry's director of online programs and a leading organizer who won marriage in Washington, DC in 2009, will speak about where the current landscape stands and what we need to do going forward.

All proceeds will benefit Freedom to Marry, which released its updated Roadmap to Victory in early July outlining the national strategy for the work that still has to be done to win marriage for same-sex couples in all 50 states. Our goal is to remain the nation's largest funder of marriage work and raise a quarter or more of the cost of finishing the job (which we estimate to be more than $100 million).
