FIAF and French Comedy Festival present BROADWAY COMEDY NIGHT

The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) and the French Comedy Festival are thrilled to present Broadway Comedy Night, the closing night of the second annual French Comedy Festival, and the only night all in English on Saturday, June 24 at 9:30pm in FIAF's Florence Gould Hall.

New York's brightest Francophone and American comedians put their sets to the ultimate test as they try to land laughs with audiences from both sides of the Atlantic.

What's funny in every culture? Which jokes have no translation? And who will be the next Gad Elmaleh? Don't miss these comedic all-stars whose work has appeared on Late Night, Comedy Central, Just for Laughs in Montreal, and Gotham Comedy Club.


Featuring, Kyan Khojandi, Sebastian Marx, Jeff Greenspan, Michael Sehn, Christelle Chollet, Guillermo Guiz, Yacine Belhousse, and Jessimae Peluso.


Hosted by Sugar Sammy.

All stand-up acts will be in English.


Intended for audiences ages 18 and above.

About Sugar Sammy

One of the hottest comedians on the international circuit, Sugar Sammy has performed over 1,500 shows in 29 countries, in English, French, Hindi, and Punjabi.

In the fall of 2016 he made his debut in France, presenting 42 sold-out preview performances at Paris' legendary Point-Virgule theatre. After a two-month preview tour around France, he officially launched his new show, written specifically for French audiences, in March 2017 at Paris' Théâtre l'Européen. After 36 sold out shows, Sugar Sammy has added 25 additional shows at the Alhambra Theatre, moving from a 350 seat theatre to a 600-seater.

In the midst of all his shows in France, Sugar Sammy will also visit the US on a 40-show tour in spring/summer 2017, visiting San Jose, Seattle, Atlanta, Houston, Austin, Naples (FL), and New York.
