FEAST Announces Its Thrilling Lineup of Dance, Comedy and Theatre Artists for FEAST3: January Image

FEAST: A Performance Series (produced and curated by Alex Randrup and Conrad Kluck) announces the featured artists for its next monthly show, on January 7th, 2019, 7pm at UNDER St. Marks Theater (94 St. Marks Place). Tickets are $12 online at www.feastperformance.com and $15 at the door.

FEAST3: January presents workshop performances from comedy duo Jack & Melissa, choreographer Gavin Myers, and playwright Cayenne Douglass. The show will also feature the series' traditional in-show snack table and post-show party Nightcap, which takes place immediately following the show around the corner at The Grafton (126 1st Avenue).

Jack & Melissa are Jack Frederick and Melissa Aquiles, a real life couple who like to perform, write, direct, and produce comedy (and sometimes music) together. They have performed separately and together all over the city and have performed on house teams at UCB and The PIT. Their comedy videos vary from mini series, to character mock-umentaries, to shorts, to music videos, to parodies. It officially kicked off when they released their viral parody "Melissa Is All 5 Queer Eyes" where Melissa plays....you guessed it. www.jackandmelissacomedy.com.

Gavin Myers is a contemporary choreographer from Wichita, Kansas. He has worked with Darrell Grand Moultrie, Nathan Trice, Charlotte Boye-Christensen, Stephen Kopel, and Wayne Bryan, and is the current Choreographer in Residence for Skeleton Rep(resents). Gavin is developing his new dance project "Dig the Beat" with director Ria T. DiLullo, exploring action and consequence through the study of a classic Rube Goldberg project. www.gavin-myers.com.

Cayenne Douglass's plays have been produced by New Perspectives Theatre Company, ESPA Primary Stages Detention Series, The Village Playwrights, The Living Room Theatre, Step 1 Theatre Project, and many more around the country. She has been awarded Drama League's First Stage Residency, the Emerging Artists Residency (in association with the Jerome Foundation) at the Tofte Lake Center in Ely, MN, and an artist residency with Barn Arts Collective in Bass Harbor, ME. She is currently pursuing her MFA in playwriting at Boston University. www.cayennedouglass.com.

FEAST: A Performance Series is a monthly multidisciplinary performance lab centered on artistic advocacy and community building. FEAST presents a night of new work from three artists of three different performance-based disciplines every first Monday of the month. www.feastperformance.com.
