According to an Equity casting notice, FAT CAMP, the musical which ran off-Broadway in 2012, will get a developmental workshop this Fall. Scott Schwartz is set to direct the project, which will take place September 2-12.

FAT CAMP features a book by Randy Blair (Perez Hilton Saves the Universe) and Tim Drucker (Perez Hilton Saves the Universe), music by Matthew roi Berger (NY Neo-Classical Ensemble's 12th Night), and lyrics by Randy Blair.

FAT CAMP is the story of a rock 'n' roll rebel and the place where he proves he's more than meets the eye: Camp Overton. It was originally performed at the 2009 New York Musical Theatre Festival, produced by Carl Levin andMichael Minarik, and received four awards including the top honor "Best of Fest." In the summer of 2011, FAT CAMP received a developmental production at Cleveland's PlayhouseSquare as the inaugural production in their "Page to Stage Program," which invites theatre writers to develop Broadway-aimed productions, while allowing Ohio audiences to provide response and feedback as the creators hone their works.
