FAB Events Include PRIDE GOES EAST Starting May 20

Fourth Arts Block (FAB) is participating in various events with soloNova Festival, the Lower East Side Festival for the Arts and Pride Goes East celebration kicks of Thursday, May 20 at Performance Space 122 with the Ethyl Eicherberger Awards. For a full list of FAB events and information on the FAB Pass visit http://www.fabnyc.org/.

Pride Goes East unites Fourth Arts Block (FAB) theaters with Lower East Side (LESBID) businesses as they celebrate Pride in the way that only such a unique, diverse, culturally-rich neighborhood can! Performance Space 122, Dixon Place, La MaMa, and other FAB theatres will be presenting a variety of LBGT performances while Lower East Side shops and restaurants offer hot deals and special events in support of fundraising efforts for the Hetrick-Martin Institute, home of the Harvey Milk School. Pride Goes East kicks into high gear May 20th and runs through June.

Memorial Day weekend marks the 15th Annual Lower East Side Festival from Fri. May 28th at 6PM till Sun. May 30th at 1AM participate in plays, music, dance, and film. Our very own Rod Rodgers Dance Company as well as New York Theatre Workshop  and the New York Neo-Futurists will be contributing to the festivities. Fourth Arts Block (FAB) is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 by cultural and community groups to establish and advance the East 4th Street Cultural District, between 2nd Avenue and Bowery.  FAB provides a variety of services to its member organizations including leading the development and conversion of 100,000 square feet of cultural space, marketing and promotion of the district, as well as offering discount ticketing and other community events and programs.
