Exploring Summer Theatre, the latest in a series of popular American Theatre Wing "Working in the Theatre" seminars, will be held on Friday, June 10th from 12 Noon – 1:30 PM at the City University of New York's Elebash Recital Hall.

A number of distinguished theatre professionals will share their insights in the discussion
Sybil Christopher (Producing Director, Bay Street Theatre), Alison Harris (Executive Director, Westport Country Playhouse),  Kate Maguire (Executive Director, Berkshire Theatre Festival); Jackie Maxwell (Artistic Director, Shaw Festival), Max Mayer (Producing Director, New York Stage and Film) and Howard Sherman, Executive Director of The American Theatre Wing will moderate the panel.

The "Working in the Theatre" seminars have been expanded this season and are being presented in a new larger facility. "The American Theatre Wing (Sondra Gilman, Chairman of the Board; Doug Leeds, President and Howard Sherman, Executive Director) through its many programs remains dedicated to supporting and servicing the community through theatre and building audiences for the future.  The Wing Seminars continue to provide a unique, enlightening, behind-the-scenes theatrical experience with the star-studded panels comprised of Broadway and Off-Broadway's major theatre personalities.  The Seminars continue to provide some of the most entertaining and informative discussions on theatre today," states a press article.

Now in their 30th year, the Seminars are being held throughout the year in cooperation with Continuing Education and Public Programs at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York. The panels bring together theatre's best known performers, producers, playwrights, directors, choreographers, composers, agents and others. The "Working in the Theatre" Seminar series is broadcast five times a week on CUNY-TV (Time Warner channel 75: Fridays 9 AM, 2 PM, 7 PM,  Saturdays 11 AM & Sundays 5 PM as well as on RCN either Channel 24, 106 or 109, depending upon area).   Leadership support for the American Theatre Wing Seminars is provided by The Annenberg Foundation and The Dorothy Strelsin Foundation
