Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! That was the scene at Klick Health's office recently when all hell broke loose during the company's 'Bring Your Pet to Work Day' as seen on exclusive, new footage just-released online.
Posted at klick.com/holiday the two-minute video captures over 30 animals and exotic insects taking over Klick's office, including a cougar in the elevator, emu chasing employees, python in the men's bathroom, tarantula and scorpion crawling across a computer keyboard, monkey 'hanging around' reception, pig doing 'downward hog' in the yoga studio, and a not-so-proverbial elephant in the boardroom.
"Our experience clearly contradicts studies that say bringing pets to work can reduce employee stress," quipped Klick Health CEO Leerom Segal. "In all seriousness, we wanted to create another entertaining holiday video that showcases the awesome talent and culture we have at Klick, and give the world more reason to smile during the festive season."
Emu chases employees, parrot poops on computer
Filmed and edited entirely in-house, the Klick Holiday Video was shot over three days with live animals, professional animal trainers and handlers and over 70 of Klick's 350 employees. According to insiders, the only filming mishap involved an African Grey Parrot pooping on a tablet computer.
The video follows a string of popular Klick holiday videos that received over 100,000 views in just weeks and were featured on CBS News, CNN, Comedy Central and Entertainment Tonight among other media. The videos have become cultural hallmarks at Klick, which has increasingly been recognized for its unique, data-driven culture that values and rewards employee contribution, collaboration, leadership and goodwill.
Just last week, Klick was ranked with having one of the nation's most admired corporate cultures for 2013, pushing its number of award wins past 75 for the year.
