The Season 4 finale of Joel B. New's musical theatre podcast "Something New" took to the stage in the form of a livestream concert on Saturday, October 8th. An audio recording of the event has been exclusively released to BroadwayWorld on October 24th and will be available on all podcast platforms starting October 31st.

The concert's lineup of singers included Tim Eliot, Devin Ilaw (Les Miserable, upcoming Miss Saigon), Amy Jo Jackson, Garth Kravits (The Drowsy Chaperone), Katharine Pettit, Lauren Ruff, Bailie Slevin, Lauren Sowa, and Gabe Violett (Spring Awakening, current season of NBC's "The Voice"). Accompanied by Gillian Berkowitz (Jersey Boys). The online audience enjoyed many of Joel's original songs that premiered on the podcast this season, including a few from his upcoming EP "Cabot Cove".
Presented by Howl Round TV, the concert was recorded live from the Dramatists Guild Fund's Music Hall, a space provided as a free resource for writers. A video of the concert in its entirety is available on YouTube.
The fifth season of "Something New" is due to premiere in February 2017.

Joel B. New is the recipient of an American Theatre Wing Jonathan Larson Grant for his music and lyrics.
