Evita's Terri Klausner Appears with Steve Marzullo on May 15

The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is pleased to present Broadway's Terri Klausner and Steve Marzullo in a special, encore concert event on Monday, March 15 at 7pm. There is a $15 cover charge, as well as a two-drink minimum. The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located at 61 Christopher St., in the heart of New York's West Village. Featured in the show are an array of different musical styles - ranging from work from the musical theatre to more contemporary compositions by Billy Joel, Bonnie Raitt, The Carpenters, Heart and John Lennon.

Terri Klausner - is best known for her portrayal of Eva Peron in the original Broadway company of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita, having played the Wednesday and Saturday matinees from 1979 - 1983. Also on Broadway, she starred in the original company of Sophisticated Ladies (1981 - 1983). Terry is also a two-time Drama Desk Award nominee for Best Actress in a Musical for Bed and Sofa (1996), and Goblin Market (1986). Terry can also be heard on the recordings: Harry Chapin: The Tribute Concert and Phyllis Hyman: One on One.

Steve Marzullo has been a musical director/pianist/conductor on the Broadway scene for the past twenty years, working on Once On This Island, Ragtime, Mamma Mia!, Grease (revival), Suessical and Falsettos. His compositions include "I Hid My Love" and "Burning The Sauce" from Audra McDonald's The Seven Deadly Sins, "The Night You Decided To Stay" from Michael Winther's performance of Songs From An Unmade Bed, "Why Do I Go To The Theater" from The Audience and incidental music for The Irish Curse (New York Fringe Festival 2005).
