Salute today's landmark Supreme Court decision along with KINKY BOOTS!

A colorful and witty new social media image celebrating the momentous Supreme Court decision to legalize same-sex marriages nationwide from one of Broadway's biggest recent hits, the 2013 Tony Award-winning Best Musical KINKY BOOTS, is now available to view.

The new image shows a famous Washington, D.C. landmark with sparkly rainbow flag columns added to mirror both the recognizable logo for the show as well as the rainbow flag signifying gay pride.

Lastly, Fierstein posted, "We stand in the sunlight of a new day, the clouds of inequity r in retreat & in their stead American's rainbow "equal justice for all"."

KINKY BOOTS is a screen-to-stage adaptation of the 2005 British indie film featuring a score by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, who took home a 2013 Best Score Tony Award for her efforts on the musical collaboration with playwright, actor and activist Harvey Fierstein and director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell.

The official description of Kinky Boots is as follows: "Charlie Price (Tony nominee Stark Sands) has suddenly inherited his father's shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father's legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola (Tony winner Billy Porter). A fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos, Lola turns out to be the one person who can help Charlie become the man he's meant to be. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world. Featuring direction and Tony-winning choreography by Jerry Mitchell and a spectacularly uplifting book by four-time Tony winner Harvey Fierstein, KINKY BOOTS is the must-see new musical that proves that sometimes, the best way to fit in is to stand out!"

KINKY BOOTS is now playing on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. More information is available at the official site here.
