Evening Crane Theatre will present Lord Byron's 1822 tragedy Werner, or The Inheritance, tonight and tomorrow, December 13th & 14th, 2016, at the Loft at the Davenport Theatre.

A darkly lyrical verse drama set in the wake of the thirty years' war, Werner follows an exiled king, a lost son, and a scheming patriarch through the frontiers of Silesia. Mystery, murder and saturnine poetry abound. Starring Matthew McGill as Werner, Elizabeth Cardaropoli as Josephine, and Storm Garner as the nefarious Stralenheim. Directed by Michael Seebold.

Shows start at 8:30 PM. Tickets start at $15 and are available through Eventbrite: /werner_inheritance.eventbrite.com.
