Ethos Contemporary Art today announced that Amazon.com has approved the gallery to join Amazon Art, a new online fine art sales channel for the world's largest e-retailer. Ethos within Amazon Art will be offering original fine art from world-class artists, such as Pierre Henri Matisse, Georgeana Ireland, Lisa Palombo, Dick Marconi, and several others, on Dec. 1st., just before Cyber Monday, the single largest online commerce day of the year.
The Ethos Contemporary online gallery within Amazon Art will soon showcase more than 400 original works of art. In addition to global iconic artist Pierre Henri Matisse - the grandson of Henri Matisse - the list of other master artists include Georgeana Ireland, Lisa Palombo, Neal Parisi, Barbara Jordan, Ellen Anon, Bobby Lee Krajnik, Dick Marconi and Dana Ridenour.
"Amazon Art is fundamentally changing the way fine art is collected and valued on a global scale, bringing fine art to the masses in a way never before seen," said Linda Lamitie, Director of Ethos Contemporary Art. "Ethos Contemporary Art is excited about the opportunity to share our work with all types of art buyers, from experienced collectors to those buying art for the first time. We're also biased, but we can't think of a better gift than an original piece of art."
Amazon Art brings together works from more than 150 galleries and 4,500 artists. It features paintings, drawings, mixed media, photography and art prints. The site also showcases art from a multitude of periods and styles including Contemporary, Pop, Abstract and Modern Art.
