On Wednesday, September 25, the Esperanza Azteca Youth Orchestra of Mexico, a development program that actively teaches values with music to at-risk teens, will make its U.S. debut in New York City.
The session will feature a concert of Esperanza Azteca Youth Orchestra of Mexico with special guest performer Alex Lora on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Church, 619 Lexington Avenue at 54th Street, NYC. Esperanza Azteca is a national network of youth orchestras and choirs that provide young people from low-income families a better quality of life. We seek to form better human beings through music. The project is a joint effort among local communities, local, state and federal governments and the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, spearheaded by Fundación Azteca.
