Landmark on Main Street is delighted to announce that the 2007 Gala will be held at the Jeanne Rimsky Theater for a magnificent Concert starring Melissa Errico and Brian D'Arcy James on Saturday, November 3.

Melissa Errico's Broadway credits include My Fair Lady, High Society, Amour and DraculaBrian D'Arcy James' credits include The Apple Tree, Titanic, Sweet Smell of Success, MTC's The Wild Party, Carousel, Blood Brothers and Les Miserables.  Together they have created a brand new show to debut at Landmark's Gala called "His Eyes, Her Eyes."  The evening celebrates Broadway music – featuring great songs and duets by Richard Rodgers, Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter and Michel Legrand as well as modern arrangements of favorites by James Taylor, Billy Joel and Duke Ellington will also be party of the spectacular Gala evening.

The Gala is the major fundraising event for Landmark on Main Street and will honor long time Port Washington Resident and philanthropist, Claudia Caruso Rouhana.  Supporting the efforts are gala chairs,  Fern and Hersh Cohen, Angela and Scott Jaggar, Stuart Johnson, Anne and Vincent Mai, Gay and Bill Schmergel, Dot and Ed Slade, Deanne Spiegel and Pam and Larry Tarica; together with honorary chairs, Patrick Foye, Bob and Jane Harding and Lillian McCormick, Co-Founder of Landmark on Main Street.  The emcee for the evening is NBC4's Sports Anchor, Len Berman.  The evening will feature the concert, immediately followed by dancing and dessert reception. 

Landmark's major fundraiser for the year, the gala is vital to Landmark's survival and growth.   Funds raised go to maintaining its vibrant community center and to presenting first-rate programs, such as Joan Osborne, Jorma Kaukonen and Brian Stokes Mitchell, in the lovely Jeanne Rimsky Theater.  For information regarding reservations call 516-767-2355.
