Actor and author Erik Jensen will make his Broadway debut this February as he joins the cast of Talk Radio.
He will take on the role of Stu Noonan, the longtime friend and foil to "Talk Radio"'s star Barry Champlain, played by Liev Schreiber. A triple threat actor, writer and director, he is currently starring as Thurman Munson in next year's new series "The Bronx Is Burning." With his wife Jessica Blank, he is co-author of the play and film The Exonerated (2005), which received Outer Critics Circle, Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, and other awards. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, he is currently at work directing Main Street, a documentary about small town farmers. He has appeared in many TV shows and in over 2 dozen feature films, including Black Night, The Love Letter, and The House Is Burning.The production will also star Peter Hermann, with more casting to be announced.Robert Falls, Tony-winning Director of 1999's Death Of A Salesman, whose other credits include Long Day's Journey Into Night and Shining City on Broadway, will stage the production.Bogosian's work includes Wake Up and Smell the Coffee, SubUrbia, Pounding Nails in the Floor with my Forehead, Sex, Drugs, & Rock & Roll, and Drinking in America (Drama Desk Award). Talk Radio was a nominated finalist for the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This is Bogosian's first play to be produced on Broadway. In addition, he has written screenplays for several motion pictures. His second novel was published last year.
